Rooted in the principles of Te Whāriki, we foster a sense of belonging, wellbeing, and empowerment through intentional, play-based learning. Our learning experiences weave early literacy and numeracy into meaningful, play-based experiences. Tamariki explores print and numbers in ways that are purposeful and engaging — through storytelling, games, pattern-making, conversations, and problem-solving. This approach builds both competence and confidence, nurturing a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
Social & Emotional Learning – Developing empathy and resilience
Our kaiako nurture warm, respectful relationships that provide tamariki with a strong sense of wellbeing and security. Children learn how to collaborate, share ideas, resolve conflict peacefully, and regulate their emotions — all essential skills for the transition to school and beyond.
